Coach Sean Stochl took over the men's basketball program in 2016 winning seven games in the 2016-2017 season. He went on to coach six seasons for the Hawks finishing with a 20-157 record. He coached three Region 4 All-Region athletes including Isaiah Butler (16/17), Joe Gatziolis (17/18), and Michael Nowakowski (19/20).

He took over the women's basketball program the following year in 2017, winning seven games as well. He went on to coach the following season finishing with a 7-48 record. He coached one Region 4 All-Region athlete, Ashley Shapiro (17/18).

Stochl was also the softball assistant coach from 2016-2018.

In 2019, he became an assistant in the athletic department as the sports information coordinator.
