Box Score ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Harper College women's soccer team saw its season come to an end at top-seeded Rock Valley College on Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 loss in the Region IV Semifinals.
Rock Valley (11-2) scored the first goal of the game at the 11:32 mark in the first half as Hayley Reeser scored her sixth goal of the season after being set up by Sadey Jumapao and Brenda Estrada. In the 31st minute, Jumapao scored her 11th goal of the season on a feed from Nicole Fauerbach. The Golden Eagles led the Hawks (4-9-2) 2-0 at the break.
Rock Valley added to that lead at the 52:58 mark as Jumapao scored her second goal of the game, this time set up by Reeser and Samantha Walleck. Harper finally got on the board in the 81st minute on a Diana Uihlein (Chelsea, Mich./Model Secondary School for the Deaf) goal, her second of the year.
With the win, the Golden Eagles move on to the Region IV Championship, where they will face #2 seed College of DuPage (13-3-2).
