PALATINE, IL- On Friday, the Harper College volleyball team hosted Millikin University in a match to raise awareness for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)
Even though the Hawks fell to the NCAA DIII Big Blue, it was a great turnout in the stands to support the cause. Head coach
Bob Vilsoet echoed that sentiment saying, "Nice crowd and excellent support!" The Hawks, wearing teal, played well against the four-year opponent, but could not muster up the victory.
In addition to the fan support, the Hawks were accepting optional donations and raised $210 that was donated to Dysautonomia International. Anyone wishing to learn more about Dysautonomia International, POTS, or looking to donate to the cause can follow this
