Harper College took the lead late in the game in an 8-4 victory over Waubonsee Chiefs on Friday.

Nic Castrovillari (Hanover Park, IL/Bartlett High School) led off the game with a double, Adrianza advanced him to third with a deep fly ball, and
Justin Gadomski (Schaumburg, IL/Schaumburg High School) drove him in with a single to centerfield.
The game was tied at three with Harper College batting in the top of the sixth when the Hawks put their foot on the gas.
Kyle Odeshoo (Arlington Heights, Illinois/Prospect High School) got things going with base hit to rightfield,
Justin Cappis (Chicago, IL/Niles North) walked, and
Tyler Spiecker (Romeoville, IL/Romeoville High School) laid down a perfect bunt that hugged the line for a single.
Ehinger Adrianza (Miami, FL/Felix Varela Senior High) then drew a walk bases loaded walk, scoring one run to give Harper the lead. Gadomski drove in another run after being hit by a pitch, and then
George Betevis (Hanover Park, IL/Bartlett High School) delivered the decisive blow with a double off the fence in leftcenter to clear the bases.
Jason Gutkowski (Roselle, IL/Lake Park High School) led the Harper College to victory on the hill. The Augustana commit lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and four runs (one earned) while striking out seven.
