In the last set, Harper jumped out to a 5-1 lead, again, then 10-3, 14-9 and 16-11, on the way to a 25-18 win. Knuth unloaded 7 more kills on 10 attacks, for a match-high 23 kills – which is a NEW Harper College all-time record for kills in a 3-set match!! All-American Ellie Burzlaff had the previous record of 21 kills in a 3-set match against Illinois Central back on October 7, 2017. The Harper College record for kills for any match is just 28. Maimur had 4 kills on 4 attacks for an astounding 9 kills on 11 attacks for the match. Seems like that is record-like as well. Knuth was ALSO 8-9 serving with 4 aces.
