Hawks Men's Soccer Drops Home Finale

Palatine, IL: The Hawks men's soccer team competed in their final home game of the season on Saturday in a 3-5 loss against Region 4 opponent Elgin.

The Spartans took command of the game in the first half as they scored three unanswered goals, but the Hawks came out fighting in the second half. Ethan Knapp scored first for the Hawks in the 48th minute and Ethan Knapp added one right after. Andrija Savic and Antonio Caldera both assisted on the goals. The Spartans answered with two goals of their own in the 63rd and 75th minute before Patrick Moskal added the Hawks' third goal of the game as Knapp assisted. Bogdan Simovic finished with five saves.


The Hawks will play their last regular season games this week against Madison and Rock Valley on Tuesday and Friday.
