Hawks MBB Struggle from Deep in Loss to Morton

Palatine, IL: The Harper men's basketball team suffered a tough loss to Morton College, with a cold shooting night proving to be the difference. The Hawks saw 13 of their 14 rostered players take the court, but the collective effort was unable to overcome a dismal performance from beyond the arc. Harper shot just 4-for-31 from three-point range, a mere 12.9%, which hampered their offensive flow throughout the contest.  

Despite the challenges, the Hawks showed resilience by spreading minutes across the lineup, demonstrating depth and energy in spurts. However, Morton capitalized on Harper's struggles to secure the victory.  

The loss highlights the Hawks' need to sharpen their shooting efficiency as they look to bounce back in their next matchup against Parkland on Saturday.
