Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer Wins 7-0

Palatine, IL: In the Hawks' third home game of the season they faced off against Chicago City College Daley. The team got off to a slow start before eventually breaking the game open to win 7-0.

The first goal didn't come for 25 minutes until Adella Hukic punched one in. Hukic added an assist about 10 minutes later to Grace Nikolakakis. Cathryn Abbott scored a minute later on a Madison Schiola assist. The Hawks closed the first half with three goals while they dominated possession.

The second half saw more scoring from the Hawks as the added four more throughout. Schiola scored twice on assists from Danielle Tarchala both times. Ximena Acuna added an unassisted goal and Hukic connected with Nikolakakis again for another goal. The second half also got a little chippy as the Hawks had 3 yellow cards and Daley committed a red late.

Meghan Ewanio finished the game with 11 saves and a clean sheet, her second in a row.


The Hawks play next on Tuesday at home vs Oakton at 2:00 PM.
