Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Men's Soccer Goes 1-1 During Week

Palatine, IL: The Hawks played two games last week with the first being at home on Wednesday against Kishwaukee and the other against Joliet on the road.

In the first game the Hawks came out ready to play and show out for a home crowd. Arya Chingakham connected with Stefan Kokovic for a goal late in the first half to put the Hawks up 1-0 at halftime.

Immediately upon starting the second half Kokovic then connected with Ukyo Takahashi for a second Hawks score. As time was winding down Andrija Savic scored on a pass from Ethan Knapp to complete the scoring for the game.

Before the first half ended goalkeeper Bogdan Simovic was injured and Francisco Hernandez came in to finish the half and game. They combined for a clean sheet.


In the second game of the week the Hawks came out flat against Joliet. Chingakham and Savic connected for a goal at the end of the second half to put the Hawks on the board but ultimately lost 1-5.


The Hawks travel to Sandburg tomorrow for the next game.
