Hawks Show Fight in Home Loss to Moraine Valley

Palatine, IL: Despite playing on familiar turf, the Hawks found themselves overwhelmed early, as Moraine Valley struck four times in the first half and added two more after intermission. 

Harper had only one corner kick and just five total shots on goal while goalkeeper Lesly Garcia worked through 18 saves, keeping the margin from growing even further. 

While the final score is not what they hoped for, there is value in the experience of battling through adversity at home.


As the Hawks move forward, the focus now shifts to building attacking support, minimizing defensive breakdowns, and protecting their home field in upcoming contests.
