Hawks Go 2-2 at Rock Valley Invitational

Rockford, IL: Harper Volleyball traveled to Rockford, IL to play in the Rock Valley invitational.

Harper lost to College of Lake County in a close 5-set match  25-19, 24-26, 25-27, 25-15, 7-15. Jocelyn Erling led Harper with 19 digs and 16 kills for a statistical double-double; Lauren Ahlstedt had 14 kills. Brianna Van Dyke was 21 of 23 serving with 2 aces and had 21 digs. Ana Kadolph was 18-18 serving and 2 aces and 17 digs; Phoebe Kim was 16-16 serving

Harper defeated Iowa Lakes in another close 5-set match  24-26, 25-12, 16-25, 28-26, 15-13. Erling led Harper with 16 kills. Mira Tchohadjieva had 12 kills. Van Dyke had 22 digs, and setter Kim had 21 digs of her own and a very healthy 48 assists for a statistical double-double.

Harper defeated Southeastern, Iowa  24-26, 25-16, 25-22, 25-21. Erling led Harper with 14 kills… An energetic Destiny Parsons had 13 kills, and Ahlstedt had 12 kills. Defensively, Kim led Harper with 17 digs. Van Dyke had 15 digs. 

Harper lost to North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC)  22-25, 20-25, 14-25.
