Hawks Honor Sophomores in Battle Against Joliet

Palatine, IL: The Hawks men's basketball team recognized their sophomore class on Thursday night as they took on the Joliet Wolves. All five sophomores — Korey Blan, Andre Anderson, Daniel Tewogbade, Brycen Mahnke, and Ibukunoluwakitan Sonoiki — started for the Hawks, showcasing the experience and leadership they've brought to the program over the past two seasons.  

Anderson led the way with 12 points, while Blan added 10 along with a block and three steals. Off the bench, Connor Pritchard provided a spark, tallying 11 points, a steal, and three blocks. The Hawks fought hard but ultimately came up short against a tough Joliet squad.  

This group of sophomores has been instrumental in the team's development, with Coach Richards, Coach Patterson, and the Hawks staff expressed their gratitude for the dedication and hard work they've provided, as they look to finish strong and set the stage for the future of the program.


As the season winds down, Harper will take on DuPage in an away game tomorrow before returning home for one final contest against Triton on Saturday.
