Hawks Close Season with Big Win Over Rams

Palatine, IL: The Hawks women's basketball team capped off their season in dominant fashion, securing a 61-49 victory over the Wright Rams at Hawks Fieldhouse on Saturday.  

The team came out firing from downtown, as Meghan Ewanio and Brianna Linnemann combined for seven threes. Ewanio had a career-best performance, lighting up the scoreboard with 25 points on 9-of-19 shooting, including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc. She also pulled down eight rebounds, leading the offensive charge for the Hawks.  

Linnemann provided key contributions from long range, knocking down three clutch three-pointers, while Kinsley Stillman and Taliyah Morales each added eight points to keep the Hawks in control.  

On the boards, Gabriella Swanson was a force yet again, grabbing 16 rebounds to close out her stellar season. Her final total of 255 rebounds ranks her 5th all-time for the Hawks in a single season, cementing her place in the program's history.  

With this win, the Hawks end their season on a high note, demonstrating the resilience and talent that defined their campaign.
