Hawks Drop Tough One to #11 Kankakee

Kankakee, IL: Coming off a grueling stretch of five games in three days, the fatigue caught up with the Hawks baseball team on Thursday as they fell to #11-ranked Kankakee, 21-3, in a seven-innings.

The Cavaliers capitalized early, exploding for 12 runs in the second inning to break the game open. Despite the lopsided scoreline, there were a few bright spots for the Hawks. Spencer Geake continued his strong season with a solo home run, while Peter Castaneda added an extra-base hit of his own with a double.

The Hawks will look to regroup and bounce back next Tuesday when they return home to face South Suburban.
