Hawks Fall to Lancers in Second Match of the Season

Grayslake, IL: The Hawks women's soccer team dropped its second game of the 2025 season on Friday, falling 5-2 to the College of Lake County Lancers.

The Hawks showed improved offensive rhythm, finding the back of the net twice. Nejira Duratovic opened the scoring for Harper, while Miriam Jimenez added another with an assist from Adella Hukic.

Goalkeeper Lesly Garcia continued her strong start to the season, tallying 21 saves against a relentless Lancers attack.


The Hawks will look to keep building momentum when they return to the field on Wednesday to face Region 4 rival College of DuPage.
