Malta, IL: The Hawks women's soccer team earned its first victory of the 2025 season on Wednesday, defeating Kishwaukee 1-0 in a hard-fought road match.

The Hawks battled throughout the contest, applying steady pressure but waiting until the final moments to break through. In the 89th minute, Grace Nikolakakis delivered the decisive goal to secure the win. Goalkeeper Lesly Garcia was sharp in net, finishing with five saves to preserve the shutout.
