Hawks Competitive in Home Loss to South Suburban

Palatine, IL: The Hawks women's basketball team played a spirited and competitive game Thursday night at Hawks' Fieldhouse but ultimately fell 78–69 to South Suburban College. Harper battled across all four quarters and matched the Bulldogs' runs multiple times, but South Suburban's scoring bursts late in the second quarter and in the fourth helped decide the outcome.

Harper started strong and led early, outscoring South Suburban 21–15 in the first quarter and staying close through the first half. The Bulldogs answered with a big second quarter and took a 44-41 lead into halftime. Both teams traded punches in the second half, but South Suburban's scoring depth ultimately carried it to the win.
