Harper Men's Soccer Earns Four NJCAA All-Academic Honors

Palatine, IL: The Harper men's soccer team continued to excel in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year, earning four NJCAA All-Academic selections while numerous Hawks received Region 4 All-Academic recognition throughout the fall and spring semesters.

The NJCAA All-Academic Teams recognize student-athletes who complete at least 24 credit hours during the academic year while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.60 or higher. First Team honors are awarded to student-athletes with a perfect 4.00 GPA, Second Team recognizes GPAs between 3.80 and 3.99, and Third Team honors are awarded to those with GPAs between 3.60 and 3.79.

Ukyo Takahashi led the Hawks by earning NJCAA All-Academic First Team honors with a perfect 4.00 GPA.

Orlando Angelina and Eddie Montes were named to the NJCAA All-Academic Second Team, while Kristian Vladimirov earned NJCAA All-Academic Third Team recognition.

Region 4 All-Academic honors are awarded to student-athletes who successfully complete at least 12 credit hours during a semester while maintaining a GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Harper had 13 student-athletes recognized as Fall Region 4 All-Academic selections: Takahashi, Angelina, Montes, Vladimirov, Abdul (Abdurakhmon) Abduvaliev, Erik Cerda, Carlos Cononieto, Victor Del Rosario Silva, David De Souza, Joseph Molina Urbina, Patrick Moskal, Karol Noga, and Miguelangel Peña.

The Hawks followed with 11 Spring Region 4 All-Academic honorees. Angelina, Cerda, Montes, Moskal, Takahashi, and Vladimirov repeated the honor, while Daniel Cabrera Hernandez, Anthony Caldera, Jakub Chmielewski, and Augustine Medina also earned Spring Region 4 All-Academic recognition.

The Hawks' academic achievements reflect the program's commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom, with student-athletes earning recognition at the regional and national levels throughout the 2025-26 academic year.
