Biography

2016: Entering second season with the Hawks.

2015: Played in 25 games as a freshman … played in nine of the Hawks’ final 11 games … had 15 hits, 14 runs, one double, seven walks, three stolen bases, six RBIs and a .343 OBP … had a .938 fielding percentage on 65 total chances (33 putouts, 28 assists, four errors) … went 3-for-4 with a double and run scored in a May 1 against Elgin Community College … was 2-for-3 at the plate with three runs scored and two walks on May 9 against Rock Valley College.

Prep: A two-year letter winner for the Huskies … played for coach Bob Huber … two-year varsity starter … team went 23-13 in 2012 and 13-21 in 2013 … team was the MSL East champion … played football freshman and sophomore years.

Personal: B.J. is the son of Michael and Lisa Wingerter … major is economics/finance.
