Biography

2015: Entering first season with the Hawks.

Prep: A three-year letter winner for the Bison … played for coach Jackie Gronski … went to the USAV Junior Olympics Nationals Tournament in New Orleans this past year, leading her team to a second place finish in the 18’s division of the Windy City Power League …  also a 2015 IHSA State Champion in badminton doubles.

Personal: Katelyn is the daughter of Ken and Karen Sommers … her sister, Kelly Sommers, played volleyball for the Hawks in 2011 and 2012 … major is undecided.
