2015 Season
Women’s Soccer-Region IV Runner-Up

The Harper College women’s soccer team had a very successful fall 2015 season. The Hawks finished with a 10-8 record and 6-4 record in N4C play. In postseason play, Harper advanced to the Region IV Championship with a thrilling 2-1 overtime win over 2015 Region IV Champ Rock Valley College. The Hawks fell in the title game to College of DuPage, ending their season.

Five Hawks earned postseason honors for their play.

2014 Season
The Harper College Women’s Soccer Team went 4-9-2 in the 2014 season. The Hawks’ four wins came against Triton College (twice), Joliet Junior College, and Morton College. Harper’s season ended with a 3-1 loss to Rock Valley College in the Region IV Semifinals.

Four Hawks earned postseason honors for their play.

2013 Season
Women’s Soccer-Region IV Runner-Up

The Harper College Women’s Soccer Team went 5-4 in the 2013 season. The Hawks defeated Triton 6-1 in the Region IV Semifinals but fell to College of DuPage  in the Region IV Championship to fall just short of nationals.

Despite the disappointing end to the postseason, seven Hawks earned honors for their performance in the 2013 campaign.

2012 Season
Women’s Soccer-Region IV Champions, Sixth Place at NJCAA National Championships, NJCAA Division III Sportsmanship Award

The Harper College Women’s Soccer Team went 7-13 in an injury-ridden 2012 season, but the team peaked at the perfect time. The Hawks defeated Joliet 3-0 in the Region IV Semifinals and the College of DuPage 2-1 in the Region IV Championship to claim the regional title and advance to nationals. Head coach Dwayne Cruz was named Region IV Coach of the Year.

At nationals, the Hawks compiled a 1-2 record and finished in sixth place. Five athletes earned postseason accolades for their season accomplishments.

2011 Season

The Hawks went 9-7, including a 5-3 mark in league play that put them in second place.  The team earned a 4-1 triumph over Joliet Junior College in the Region IV semifinals, jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the first 20 minutes.  Leah Tednes scored three goals while Bree Nishibun also found the back of the net.  Tednes added two goals in the title game and Nicole Gaborek also scored for the Hawks.
 
The team reached the Region IV championship game, where they lost 5-3 to College of DuPage.

2010 Season
Women’s Soccer – 2010 NJCAA Region IV D-III Champion:
 
Harper College’s Women’s Soccer team went 10-4, capturing the NJCAA Region IV D-III Championship and advancing to the NJCAA D-III National Championships at Prince Georges Community College in Maryland. The Lady Hawks ended the season ranked 9th in the Nation.

The Lady Hawks cruised through the regular season with an 8-2 record and hosted Joliet Junior College in the Regional Semi-Finals. With a 2-0 shutout, Harper advanced to take on the College of DuPage for the title. In the Regional Final, Harper captured the crown with a 4-3 win over the Chaparrals.

Unfortunately, the Lady Hawks fell to North Lake (TX) College in overtime in the opening round of play (4-2 on penalty kicks) after being tied at 1-1 in regulation.

In the consolation bracket, Harper fell to Rochester (MN) Community and Technical College, 3-0, to end the season.

2009 Season
Harper College's Women's Soccer team, guided by Head Coach Dwayne Cruz, enjoyed a successful season by compiling a 7-5-1 record and taking second place in the Regionals. The Lady Hawks defeated Triton College 2-0 in the first round of the Regionals to advance to the finals against the College of DuPage, where they would drop a tough, 1-0 decision. Harper was well represented on Division III All-Conference/Region IV teams with 7 ladies earning honors (3 First Team and 4 Second Team).

2008 Season
The Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams were in a re-building year. The Men (3-8, 0-4) failed to reach the Region IV title game for the first time in the last eight years. They lost in the Semi –finals to Joliet 2-1. The Women (4-7-1, 2-5-1) showed bits of brilliance when they came from behind to tie COD the NJCAA 4th ranked team in the nation 2-2 in a late season game. The women closed their season as they lost in the Region semi – Finals to COD, 5-1. 

2007 Season
Both of Harper’s Soccer teams reached the Regional Title game before season ending defeats.  The Women’s Team finished 5-7-1 under Coach Dwayne Cruz. They have finished the season 2nd in the Region or higher 7 years in a row.  Four players made All-Conference.  Three players made All-Region and Defensive player, Samantha Witczak, was named one of the Conference’s top three players. 

2006 Season
Both Men’s and Women’s Soccer were competitive. 

2005 Season
The women’s soccer team stayed consistent as well as they reached the Region IV Championship game for the fifth-straight year. 

2004 Season
The women’s soccer team finished with a strong 13-3 record. 
 
2003 Season
After a district championship in 2002, the Harper College women’s soccer team backed that up with an N4C conference championship.

2002 Season
The Hawk women’s soccer team, in only its sixth year of existence, accomplished a 24-3 season and made all kinds of school history by winning the N4C conference, Region IV, and District E championships, qualifying for the NJCAA national finals for the first time. The Hawks finished sixth in the nation after winning one and losing two games in the national finals. Their 18-1 regular season was the best one by any Harper soccer team in school history. The Hawks outscored opponents by 133-12, racked up 18 shutouts, three of them in post-season. Goalkeeper Laura de Gelleke (Barrington), who allowed less than 10 goals all season, was named a second team All-American. Leading scorers for the Hawks were Glory Taylor (Elk Grove) with 29, and Casey Trendler (Cary Grove) with 19. Tops in assists were Lindsey Krolack (Barrington) with 30, and Trendler with 14. In the last two seasons under coach Dwayne Cruz, the Hawks are 42-5. 

2001 Season
2001 was the Hawks’ best in the five-year history of the Women’s Soccer program. The Hawks went 18-2 and won the N4C and Region Championships. Leading scorer Kristina Bratt tied her single game national goal scoring record of 8 goals three times. Half a dozen Hawks were named to All-Region IV or All-N4C teams. The Hawks lost in District 2 semi-finals in St. Louis. This was Coach Dwayne Cruz’ second season.

2000 Season
Kristina Bratt, a freshman from Lincoln, Nebraska, made headlines in the fall when she scored eight goals in as game against Waubonsee College, breaking the national NJCAA’s single game scoring record of seven. Goalkeeper Diana Ruiz also set a national NJCAA record when she recorded 386 saves, breaking the previous season record by nearly 40.
