Before Harper
Milano went to his first baseball game when he was eight years old. His father has been the coach of Nazareth for 25+ years. He went on to play there as well and his senior year the team finished third in the state while he ended his high school career with an All-State nomination, a First Team All-Area nomination, a Honorable Mention All-Area nomination, and two All-Conference nominations.

Milano played collegiately as well. He started out at
Triton, playing for two seasons. In his first season, his season was cut short due to a UCL tear that required Tommy John surgery. His second season was also cut short, this time due to Covid. After a rough two seasons at Triton, Milano decided to transfer to Morton. He was an integral part in changing their program as the Panthers made the NJCAA DII Region IV playoffs. Milano average .322 with an OPS of 1.067. He led the country in walks, was 4th in triples, and 42nd in stolen bases. His play earned him a scholarship opportunity to play for Butler.

At
Butler he played in 71 games. During his senior year, he played for legendary coach Dave Schrage who had 804 wins at the DI level. He hit .390 in the Big East and earned Conference Weekly Honor Roll the week of April 11th, 2023. During his senior year Milano played for Blake Beemer who was the youngest head coach in the country at the time of his hire.

Milano's coaching career started when he was only 16 years old with Illinois Premier. Since 2019, he has been coaching for the Cangelosi Sparks North. Milano also volunteer coaches at Nazareth in his spare time under his father. Nazareth won state championships in 2022 and 2023 in which Milano helped with scouting and game planning.

Coach Milano is currently a coach at the
Bo Jackson Dome in Bensenville. He is the head coach of Cangelosi Sparks North, one of the top five travel organizations in the state of Illinois in 2024.
