Before Harper
Schaller graduated from 
Mundelein in 2018, where he played varsity baseball and made All-Conference. After high school, Schaller played three seasons of NJCAA baseball with one of them being the Covid season. His first two seasons were at Triton before transferring to Morton. He was All-Academic both years at Triton. He then transferred to Mount Mercy where he decided he wanted to go into coaching.

Schaller's coaching career started with Dream Big Athletics coaching their 13u team. When Schaller moved to Iowa to play at Mount Mercy, he coached the Regina Regals, a 14u team. Schaller also helped work with the Mundelein catchers in the summer of 2023. He is currently coaching with the Slammers Training Academy working with youth baseball players. He coached a 10u team in the fall of 2023 and is coaching a 12u team in the summer of 2024.
