2016: Entering second season with the Hawks.

2015: Played in 10 games, starting two in center field, as a freshman … hit .455 (5-for-11) with a run scored, RBI, and two steals … first start of the season came at Black Hawk College-Moline on April 10, where he went 1-for-1 at the plate with a stolen base …  went 3-for-4 with an RBI in a May 1 game vs. Elgin Community College.

Prep: A two-year letter winner for the Shamrocks … played for Dan Kusinski.

Personal: Matty is the son of Mark and Mary Donovan … major is kinesiology.
