Tom Wang was an assistant coach at Harper College for 21 seasons from 2002-2022 and was imperative to the program.
He coached under Jason Diebold for 12 seasons, Dan Klaus for five, and Andre Watson for four.
Wang graduated from Barrington High School in 1997, where he played goalkeeper. From there, he moved on to Valparaiso University and played goalkeeper there, as well. Wang graduated from Valparaiso in 2001 with a Bachelor of the Arts in Communications. He holds a United States Soccer Federation D License.
A native of Hoffman Estates, Wang is also a firefighter/paramedic with the Mount Prospect Fire Department and has been there since 2003.Â
