Chip Lemberg completed his eighth season as head coach of the Harper College women’s soccer program in 2025, after originally joining the Hawks coaching staff in 2014. He served as interim head coach in 2018 before being officially named head coach in 2019.

During his tenure, Lemberg led the Hawks to consistent success while developing high-level talent, producing 24 All-Region selections as head coach, in addition to 17 All-Region honorees during his time as an assistant. His leadership included multiple postseason appearances, with the program competing in Region IV championship matches and district tournaments, solidifying Harper’s presence within the NJCAA landscape.

Lemberg brought a well-rounded coaching background across multiple levels of the game. In addition to his role at Harper, he served as the Technical Director for Arlington Aces Soccer Club and was involved in high school soccer as an assistant coach at Elk Grove High School. His previous experience also includes time as Youth Director at Campton United Soccer Club, where he oversaw player development and club operations.

He holds a U.S. Soccer Federation National C License and a National Youth License, demonstrating his commitment to continued growth and coaching education.

A graduate of Northern Illinois University, Lemberg earned his bachelor’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication with a minor in History.
