Hunter Matuch joined Harper during the 2024 season as an assistant coach with a focus on the throwing events. Matuch specializes in the shot put, but is also skilled in discus and is learning hammer. Since joining Harper, he has helped coached four separate athletes to USTFCCCA All-American nominations including Hannah Schulz, the national runner-up in discus in 2025.
