Kathy Rinella will begin her third year as an assistant volleyball coach at Harper in 2018. Rinella has over 10 years of experience coaching various levels and ages. In addition to her coaching, she organizes youth volleyball leagues at the Palatine Park District. She is also the club director for Palatine Volleyball Club

Rinella played four years at Division II St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. She has her Masters of Public Administration from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.

Rinella also played Adult USAV and is a part-time staff member at Harper College where she teaches multiple volleyball classes
