Box Score JOLIET, Ill. – The Harper College men's soccer team made strides all season leading up to the postseason, but ultimately, they fell just a little short in their 2-1 loss to Joliet Junior College in the Region IV semifinals.

The Wolves scored two goals within the first 30 minutes of the first half on Sean Cox (Schaumburg, Ill., Conant) to get out front early on and the deficit was too much for the Hawks to overcome.  Harper got on the board in the 90th minute when Jacob Velinski (Palatine, Ill., Palatine) found the back of the net.

Harper had plenty of chances but were unable to capitalize.  Cox finished with seven saves in net.

The team ends their season with a 3-11 record and 3-5 mark in conference play.
