After a scoreless first half, the Hawks (8-6-2) struck less than two minutes into the second half, as Juan Hernandez (Wheeling, Ill./Wheeling) took a pass from Alex Freeman (/St. Viator) and put it past Rock Valley (8-9-2) goalkeeper Jesus Galvez to make it 1-0.
