JOLIET, Ill. – The Harper College women's soccer team showcased its offensive ability on Wednesday afternoon at Joliet Junior College. Sophomores Danielle Reptowski (Hanover Park, Ill./Schaumburg) and Kassidy Kushner (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) scored four goals apiece as the Hawks (1-3, 1-2 N4C) defeated the Wolves (0-7, 0-4 N4C) 13-1 in an N4C match.

Harper wasted no time getting on the scoreboard as Diana Uihlein (Chelsea, Mich./Model Secondary School for the Deaf) found the back of the net in the first minute on an assist from Danielle Reptowski (Hanover Park, Ill./Schaumburg). It was Reptowski's turn to score, as she scored goals in the third, eighth, and 14th minutes to help the Hawks to a 4-0 lead. Reptowski's goals were assisted by Uihlein, Kassidy Kushner (Barrington, Ill./Barrington), and Nicole Soderholm (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove).

It was then Kushner's turn to score. She weaved through the defense for unassisted goals in the 26th and 38th minutes to put the Hawks ahead 6-0 heading into halftime.

Kushner made it a hat trick with another goal in the 48th minute on a pass from Alyciah Gutierrez (Chicago, Ill./Gordon Tech). Less than a minute later, she scored her fourth consecutive goal on a feed from defender Kristen Serviss (Huntley, Ill./Huntley).  Joliet's Megan Wilson scored her first goal of the year in the 59th minute.

Gutierrez displayed her talent on offense with goals in the 52nd and 66th minutes to extend the Harper lead to 10-1. Vanessa Salazar (Stone Park, Ill./Proviso West) and Reptowski assisted on the Gutierrez goals. Reptowski scored her fourth goal of the match and seventh of the 2015 season on an assist from Serviss.

In the 86th minute, Uihlein put in her second goal of the game on a pass from Kushner. Finally, Yessenia Acosta (/Wheeling) scored her first goal of her college career.

Harper goalkeeper Sonia Valencia (Wheeling, Ill/Wheeling) made three saves and picked up the win in net, and Joliet's Samantha Gewalt was saddled with the loss.

The Hawks will be in action twice this weekend as they host N4C opponent Madison College (2-2, 2-2 N4C) at 4 PM Friday and Rochester Community & Technical College (1-2) at noon Saturday.
