ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Harper College women's soccer team won both its games at the Rochester Community & Technical College over the Weekend. The Hawks (5-4) were victorious over Carleton College on Saturday and topped host Rochester on Sunday.

Harper vs. Carleton College Club

Leading 1-0 at halftime, Harper stepped it up on offense in the second half, scoring four unanswered goals in a 5-0 win over the Carleton College Club team. Danielle Reptowski (Hanover Park, Ill./Schaumburg) scored three goals in the game, bringing her season total to 11.

Reptowski scored the only goal of the first half, an unassisted goal in the 40th minute. In the second half, it was forward Kassidy Kushner (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) who found the back of the net first, scoring in the 54th minute on an assist from Kristen Serviss (Huntley, Ill./Huntley). Just a few minutes later, Alyciah Gutierrez (Chicago, Ill./Gordon Tech) found Reptowski for her second goal of the game to give the Hawks a 3-0 edge.

In the 81st minute, Nicole Soderholm (Arlington Heights, Ill./Buffalo Grove) scored a beautiful goal off a free kick, giving Harper a 4-0 lead. Finally, Reptowski completed the hat trick with a goal in the 83rd minute. Soderholm assisted on the goal. It was Reptowski's third game scoring three or more goals in 2015.

Hawks goalkeeper Sonia Valencia (Wheeling, Ill/Wheeling) recorded her first shutout of the 2015 season and made nine saves.

Harper vs. Rochester Community & Technical College

Sophomore Kassidy Kushner (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) put on a show on Sunday, scoring four goals to lead the Hawks to a 4-2 win over host Rochester Community & Technical College. With the win, Harper pushed its record above the .500 mark (5-4) and avenged a Sept. 19 loss to the Yellow Jackets.

Rochester struck first in the game in the fifth minute as Hayley Aranda scored her third goal of the season. However, the duo of Kushner and Reptowski delivered and put the Hawks ahead in a short span. In the 28th minute, Reptowski assisted on Kushner's first goal of the game. Shortly after, the forwards came through again as Reptowski once again found Kushner for her second goal of the game to give the Hawks a 2-1 lead they took into halftime.

In the 56th minute, Kushner scored her third goal of the game on an assist from Alyciah Gutierrez (Chicago, Ill./Gordon Tech). Kushner carved up the Yellow Jacket defense for a fourth time, scoring another goal on an assist from Courtney Russ (/Lake Zurich) to put the Hawks up 4-1.

Rochester's Abby Ramierez tallied an unassisted goal in the final minutes to make it 4-2.

For Harper, Valencia was tested throughout the game and made 13 saves in a winning effort. Rochester's Maddie Hardtke made seven saves in the loss.
