Box Score PALATINE, IL- The Harper Hawks women's soccer team hosted the Triton College Trojans for the Region IV Quarterfinals. The Hawks ended the day with a 8-1 victory.

First half action began with Christina Kim () scoring for the Hawks in the 11^th minute. Within two minutes of Kim's goal, Briana Orozco () scored with the assist by Julia Szylke (). With a 2-0 lead, Julia Szylke () scored for the Hawks in the 22^nd minute and extended the lead to 3-0. Julia Szylke () would extend the lead, once again, for the Hawks in the 26^th minute with an assist by Christina Kim (). Kim would later add on to the lead in the 43^rd minute. Triton College would break their silence and score in the 44^th minute to end the half with a score of 5-1.

The Hawks continued with the attack in the second half with Julia scoring twice with assists from Ayulieth Garcia (/Maine West) and Briana Orozco (). Christina Kim () added on in the 63^rd minute. The Hawks would not allow the Trojans to score in the second half as the Hawks ended the game with a 8-1 victory.

With the win, the Hawks advance to the Region IV Semifinals.  In the match to determine their opponent, Madison College defeated MATC so the Hawks will travel to Madison on Saturday.  In their previous two meetings this year, the Hawks fell in both matches and look to turn things around to continue their postseason march.  The match is set to begin at noon.
