Hawks Finish 3rd

@NWCA Duals

The Harper Hawks traveled down to the Kentucky Exposition Center over the weekend to compete in the NWCA National Duals. This was the first contest of the new year for the Hawks.

Coach Loprieno was very eager and anxious to get back into the action: "I feel really good about our guys. They haven't wrestled in almost a month but went hard through all of our practices over break." Loprieno was referencing their last match December 14th (27 days ago). 

That hard work paid off for the Hawks who finished 3rd, the programs highest finish in Loprieno's tenure. 

"I'm excited from what I've watched over the weekend and we'll just keep getting after it day by day!" said Loprieno.

The Hawks will be back in action on January 18th, at the Al Hanke Invitational hosted by Elmhurst University at 9:30 AM.
