Hawks Place Well at Muskie Scramble

Sheboygan, WI: The Hawks wrestling team continued its early-season slate on Saturday at the Muskie Scramble in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The meet featured a mix of NCAA and NJCAA programs and provided another valuable test for the Hawks as they look to build momentum through November.

Samuel Sikorsky impressed at 133 pounds (A), battling his way to a runner-up finish. Esteban Delgado faced a familiar opponent in former Hawk Christopher Kish, falling short. Delgado ended up eighth at 133(A).

Other finishers in A divisions for the Hawks were Noah Brockie at fourth place at 184 pounds, Maguire Hoeksema fifth at 157, and Chase McCluskey and Michael Merevick sixth at 149 and 197.

At 149 pounds (C), Kolin Little captured first place with a strong showing throughout the day as did Tyson Poyer at the 174 pound (B) class.

Overall, the Muskie Scramble gave the Hawks another step forward in their development, highlighted by strong efforts across multiple weight classes. Harper continues to build depth and confidence as the season progresses and will look to carry that momentum into their as they host the Great Lakes District Duals on November 22 in the Hawks Fieldhouse.
