Harper Men's Wrestling Earns Three NJCAA All-Academic Honors

Palatine, IL: The Harper men's wrestling team continued to excel in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year, earning three NJCAA All-Academic selections while numerous Hawks were recognized as Region 4 All-Academic honorees.

The NJCAA All-Academic Teams recognize student-athletes who complete at least 24 credit hours during the academic year while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.60 or higher. First Team honors are awarded to student-athletes with a perfect 4.00 GPA, Second Team recognizes GPAs between 3.80 and 3.99, and Third Team honors are awarded to those with GPAs between 3.60 and 3.79.

Leading the Hawks were Gabriel Inorio and Michael Merevick, who each earned NJCAA All-Academic First Team honors.

Kolin Little was named to the NJCAA All-Academic Second Team.

Region 4 All-Academic honors are awarded to student-athletes who successfully complete at least 12 credit hours during a semester while maintaining a GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Harper had 13 student-athletes recognized as Fall Region 4 All-Academic selections: Inorio, Merevick, Little, Noah Brockie, Christian Chavez, Aiden Cohen, Esteban Delgado, Michael Galloway, Evan Kachigian, Joshua King, Amari Leake, Chase McCluskey, and Lennon Steinkuehler.

The Hawks followed with six Spring Region 4 All-Academic honorees. Inorio, Merevick, and Little each repeated the honor, while Kachigian, Leake, and Michael Hodge III also earned Spring Region 4 All-Academic recognition.

The Hawks' academic success reflects the program's commitment to excellence both on the mat and in the classroom, with student-athletes earning recognition at the regional and national levels throughout the 2025-26 academic year.
