Box Score Madison Wi, 9/14/2022

The Hawks upset the #7 ranked Madison Wolfpack. In the first half it was relatively mild with both teams feeling each other out. The Hawks did find the net first, when Madison's goalkeeper misplayed a routine ball. Which bounced out to Shotaro Seto (/Harry D. Jacobs) and found the back of the net. The Hawks found themselves on the defensive side of the pitch for the majority of the first half and were able to keep the score 1-0.

The Hawks came out super aggressive and strong in the second half, finding the back of the net 10 minutes into the second half. Tyler Dawson (/Rolling Meadows) was able to convert a shot into a goal that traveled over the outstretched arm of the Madison goalkeeper. The defense and offense for the Hawks continued to attack all through the second half. Arnulfo Mora was able to score 20 minutes later into the half for the Hawks, their third goal total. Dominik Strzepka (/Conant) played a very solid game in goal with 2 saves and getting the clean sheet.
