Harper College lost the lead late in a 7-5 defeat to Kankakee Cavaliers on Saturday. Kankakee Cavaliers trailed 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Daniel Puplava homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Justin Cappis (Chicago, IL/Niles North) doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring three runs.
Barlow led the Kankakee Cavaliers to victory on the mound. The bulldog surrendered four runs on five hits over five innings, striking out five. Andrew VanOeveren threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
JT Adams (Huntley, IL/Huntley High School) was on the pitcher's mound for Harper College. The righthander went six innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits and striking out four.
Kankakee Cavaliers tallied two home runs on the day. Puplava had a homer in the fifth inning. Jack Snyder went yard in the second inning.
Tommy Jusi (Hoffman Estates, IL/Fremd High School) went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Harper College in hits. Harper College didn't commit a single error in the field.
Curtis McKay led Kankakee Cavaliers with two hits in four at bats.
