Hawks Men's Basketball Defeated on the Road

Des Plaines, IL: In a hard-fought battle, the Hawks men's basketball team fell to the Oakton Owls, 79-74. The game started with a dominant 19-4 run by Oakton, as the Hawks struggled to find their rhythm. However, Harper refused to back down, clawing their way back throughout the contest and keeping the score close as the game progressed.

Luke Sinisa led the way for the Hawks, delivering an impressive performance with 20 points and 7 rebounds, showing his skill on both ends of the court. Andre Anderson also made key contributions, finishing with 13 points and 4 steals, giving Oakton trouble on defense.

Despite a resilient effort from the Hawks, they couldn't fully close the gap before the final buzzer. The loss drops them in the standings, but their tenacity in this game shows promise for the season ahead.
