Hawks Earn First Win Under Milano

Palos Hills, IL: The Hawks earned their first win of the season Thursday afternoon against Moraine Valley. 

Both teams were strong on the mound on Thursday, but the Hawks prevailed with a solid start from Jermaine Salcedo. The right-hander surrendered three hits and one run over four and two-thirds innings striking out five along the way.

Kyle Odeshoo led the Hawks with two hits while Tommy Jusi and Cole Ratliff each drove in a run for Harper. Samuel Del Valle, Brian Jensen, and Ratliff each scored a run and Luke Read added three walks.

Daniel Broeker earned a save while Jake Sarnecke also pitched. 



The Hawks face off against Blackhawk College on Saturday at noon in Moline, IL.
