Chicago, IL:  Harper College orchestrated a remarkable comeback against North Park JV, overcoming a two-set deficit to win in five sets (22-25, 21-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-13) on Thursday, September 24, at North Park University in Chicago. Led by the stellar play of setter Phoebe Kim and a balanced offensive attack, the Hawks turned a shaky start into a thrilling victory, tying program records along the way.

Set 1: The opening set was a back-and-forth battle early on, with Harper trading points with North Park until a mid-set push by North Park put them ahead 22-16. Harper fought back to 22-23, but a pair of late errors allowed North Park to close out the set 25-22.

Tchohadjieva and Evie Mounts combined for strong defensive plays at the net, with Tchohadjieva contributing 3 blocks and Mounts adding 2 kills and 2 blocks. North Park made a late push to tie the set at 23-23, but Harper closed it out with a 25-23 win, thanks to key plays from Lauren Ahlstedt (4 kills, 1 block). The Hawks finally had momentum on their side.
