Hawks MBB Stumbles Against #19 WolfPack

Palatine, IL: The Hawks men's basketball team fought valiantly but fell short against the #19 Madison WolfPack on Wednesday night at the Hawks' Fieldhouse. Despite a strong first half, the Hawks were unable to sustain their momentum, ultimately losing 43-33 in a defensive battle.  

Harper got off to an impressive start, leading 21-16 at halftime behind a strong defensive effort and timely scoring. Amari Northcutt led the Hawks offensively, finishing with 15 points. Luke Sinisa contributed 10 points and was a force on the boards, pulling down nine rebounds. Sean Spencer added a team-high 10 rebounds, showcasing his physical presence in the paint.  

The second half, however, belonged to Madison. The WolfPack clamped down defensively, holding the Hawks to just 12 points after the break while methodically chipping away at the deficit. Madison capitalized on several key turnovers to secure the win.  

Harper's effort against a nationally ranked opponent demonstrated their potential, but they will look to improve their consistency heading into their next matchup. The Hawks remain committed to learning from this tough loss as they aim to bounce back stronger.
