Wojciechowski Leads Hawks to Scholar Team of the Year

Palatine, IL: The Hawks have once again demonstrated their excellence both on the course and in the classroom, earning the distinction of being named the 2024 NJCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Scholar Team of the Year. This marks the second consecutive year that the Harper Hawks have received this prestigious honor.

Maintaining an impressive cumulative team GPA of 3.91, the Hawks set the standard for academic achievement among NJCAA cross country programs. Their dedication to scholastic excellence is matched by their competitive success, as they finished runner-up at the 2024 NJCAA DIII Cross Country Championships held in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

Adding to Harper's accolades,
Isabella Wojciechowski has been named the 2024 NJCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Scholar Athlete of the Year. Hailing from Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Wojciechowski boasts a commendable 3.61 GPA while excelling in competition, finishing as the individual runner-up at the national championship meet.

Wojciechowski's achievement marks the second time that a Harper athlete has received this honor, following in the footsteps of last year's recipient, Lilly Alberts. Her success underscores the program's commitment to fostering well-rounded student-athletes who excel in both their academic and athletic pursuits.

The Harper Hawks continue to set a high bar for excellence, proving that dedication, discipline, and teamwork lead to success both in competition and in the classroom.
