Hawks Take Care of Business Against Lancers

Palatine, IL: The Hawks baseball team continued its strong stretch of Region 4 play on Thursday with a steady 6-2 win over the Lake County Lancers. The Hawks were led by another strong performance on the mound from Logan Sarna, who earned his third win of the season.

Sarna was efficient and effective, going 5.2 innings and allowing just one run while keeping Lancer hitters off balance throughout. His command and poise helped Harper maintain control in a game that stayed tight until the later innings.

Offensively, the Hawks kept it simple but effective with seven singles on the day. Cameron King and Connor Kave each had two hits, helping spark a few key innings to push the lead. While the power wasn't on display, timely hitting and aggressive baserunning gave Harper the edge they needed.

The Hawks now turn their attention to a tough Region 4 road matchup against Rock Valley in *Rockford on Friday as they look to keep building on their strong start to the season.
