Hawks Start Season at Parkland

Champaign, IL: The Harper Hawks men's soccer team opened their 2025 season on the road at Parkland, falling 5-1. The Hawks struggled with conditioning throughout the match, with energy levels dipping even before halftime. Despite the tough start, Ukyo Takahashi provided a bright spot for Harper, finding the back of the net for the Hawks' lone goal assisted by Angel Hernandez. Coach Vlad Gacanovic and his staff will look to build on the opener as the team adjusts and improves heading into the rest of the season.

The Hawks play next at DuPage on Wednesday.
