Hawks Dominate Lake County in 15–0 Shutout

Palatine, IL: The Hawks baseball team put together one of its most complete performances of the season, rolling past the Lake County Lancers 15–0 in a dominant shutout victory. The Hawks controlled the game from start to finish, showcasing explosive offense and overpowering pitching.

Harper's bats were on full display, highlighted by three home runs from Alex Tabbert, Nick Drtina, and Griffin Kelly. The extra-base hit barrage didn't stop there, as the Hawks piled up eight doubles from Michael Mango, Brayden Clancy, Collin Roche, Drtina (2), Aidan Nohava, Kelly, Mitchell Hall, and Peter Castaneda.

The Hawks also stayed aggressive on the bases, with Tabbert, Drtina, and Kelly each swiping a bag. Roche led the offense with four RBIs, while Clancy and Drtina added two apiece as Harper consistently delivered with runners on base.

On the mound, Gavin O'Neil earned his first win of the season in impressive fashion, striking out nine and setting the tone early. David Essien followed with a dominant relief appearance, striking out eight to complete the shutout.

It was a statement win for the Hawks, who combined timely power, depth throughout the lineup, and dominant pitching in one of their strongest showings of the year.
