Hawks Fall in Doubleheader to Joliet

Palatine, IL: The Hawks dropped both games of a doubleheader against Joliet, falling 14-3 and 14-1 in a pair of five-inning contests. The Hawks continue to search for momentum as they move through the early portion of the season.

In game one, Hallie Pendleton provided a bright spot for Harper, driving in two runs. Gabi Phillis added to the offense with a double and an RBI, accounting for the Hawks' three runs. Despite those contributions, Joliet's offense proved too much to contain.

Game two saw a similar outcome, with the Wolves pulling away early. Bella Kmilek drove in the Hawks' lone run, while Julianna Gonzalez added a stolen base to keep pressure on the defense.

Harper will look to regroup as they prepare for their next matchup against Bryant & Stratton on Wednesday, April 8th.
