PALATINE, IL-  The #1 ranked Harper College Men's Cross Country team traveled to Peoria on Friday to participate in the Bradley Invitational.  In a field of 17 teams, the Hawks finished 6th overall but 1st out of the 7 junior colleges.

Harper was paced by sophomore Tony Espinoza (/Barrington), who finished 18th overall with a time of 26:57.0.  The Hawks had four additional runners finish in the top-42.  Michael Sisko (/Harvest Christian-Elgin) finished the snow-filled course in 27:28.2, taking 28th place.  Rounding out the scoring for the Hawks were Jacob Melgosa (/Jacobs) (30th, 27.38.0), Jeff Glatz (/Lake Zurich) (33rd, 27:41.4), and Glen Garino (/Maine South) (42nd, 28:22.2).

The Hawks' next meet will be on October 27 as they race for the Region IV Championship in Lake County.
