Awards Keep Coming for Cross Country Teams

PALATINE, IL-  The Harper College men and women's cross country teams took home National Titles last weekend, but that will not be the end of the awards for the program, coaches, or individuals.

The US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced the men's cross country team won the following awards:

National Men's Coach of the Year: Jim Macnider
All-Americans: Michael Sisko (/Harvest Christian-Elgin), Tony Espinoza (/Barrington), Jacob Melgosa (/Jacobs), Jeff Glatz (/Lake Zurich), Jack Casey (/Barrington)
Men's Coach of the Year (Central Region): Jim Macnider

The women's team was also given USTFCCCA the following awards:

National Women's Coach of the Year: Jim Macnider
All-American: Misbah Baig (/Hoffman Estates), Rachael Temple (/Grant), Taylor Kriess (/Palatine), Jessi Gessner (/Jacobs)
Women's Athlete of the Year (Central Region): Misbah Baig (/Hoffman Estates)
