PALATINE, IL-  The Harper College men and women's cross country teams traveled to Aurora to race in the Spartan Classic over the weekend.  Both teams finished 7th overall, but took 1st place out of the 7 junior colleges that were present.

Women's Results- 188 points, 7th overall, 1st in JUCO.

 
Rachael Temple (/Grant) led the way with a 21st place finish, 24:26.8 for 6k.  Taylor Kreiss was 23rd (24:31.8), Misbah Baig (/Hoffman Estates)-27th (24:36.6), Roxanne Temple (/Grant)-60th (25:33.8), and Jessi Gessner (/Jacobs)-94th (26:35.4) out of 196 women in the race.

Men's Resuts- 209 points, 7th overall, 1st in JUCO.
 
Tony Espinosa led the men with a 35th place finish with a time of 27:12.3 for 8k.  Michael Sisko (/Harvest Christian-Elgin)-50th (27:33.7), Jacob Melgosa (/Jacobs)-54th (27:37.8), Jack Casey (/Barrington)-56th (27:43.3) and Jeff Glatz (/Lake Zurich)-60th (27:51.1) were the men's scorers out of 202 finishers.
